DUBAIOMNIYAT Group has donated Dh5 million to support the Edge of Life campaign, an ambitious initiative launched during Ramadan by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

The campaign seeks to rescue five million children from hunger and aims to raise a minimum of Dh1 billion to combat childhood malnutrition worldwide.

The announcement was made at a Suhoor event hosted by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) at the Armani Dubai Hotel, Burj Khalifa. The gathering brought together business and philanthropy leaders, including Badr Jafar, Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Business and Philanthropy, to highlight the UAE’s commitment to global humanitarian efforts.

Mahdi Amjad, Founder and Executive Chairman of OMNIYAT Group, said the campaign exemplifies the UAE’s leadership in humanitarian causes. “It highlights the nation’s profound commitment to improving living conditions in underprivileged communities, ensuring children have access to essential nutrition and are protected against hunger,” he added.

He emphasised that OMNIYAT’s contribution reflects the group’s appreciation for the campaign’s holistic vision and focus on children suffering from acute malnutrition. The donation aligns with OMNIYAT’s ongoing collaboration with MBRGI to support vulnerable populations during Ramadan and beyond.
